Mike Parker first discovered his love of drawing through the fantastical world of comic books. At an early age he decided to become an artist and follow in the footsteps of his heroes such as Frank Frazetta, Katsuhiro Otomo, Al Williamson and Windsor McCay.
In 2000 Mike began attending the Academy of Art University in San Francisco where he studied illustration. Upon graduating Mike worked for several years creating concepts, art and animation for LCD handhelds, plug 'n' play games and toys working with companies such as Mattel, Hasbro and Fisher-Price.
In 2008 Mike began working in the video game industry as a concept artist and animator. Throughout his career Mike has worked game designers and engineers to develop fantastical and engaging characters, worlds and stories. Currently he is searching for new freelance and permanent opportunities as a concept or 2D artist.
